So here it be...

I'm just sitting at work waiting for stuff to happen. Not a damn thing I can do about it either. Its just a matter of other teams making sure that my team has little to no life. Of course, with me being single and having no kids, this causes me to get more work. I'm the one who gets to work most of the weekends. Thankfully its College Football season and I refuse to work most weekends because of games.

Why am I whining? I don't know. I'm just tired... physically and mentally. Thankfully I really like the work that I do, otherwise I'd be trying to get out of this place. Don't get me wrong, I'm trying to get out of this place, but I want to continue doing similar work in a better venue.

Does Google use SAP?
Anyone know of any places in Maryland that are hiring SAP Basis people?
You can also replace Maryland with Chicago or Seattle or Portland or DC or Philly.

I really hope I hear SOMETHING from one of the places I've sent my resume. I would love to be 29 years old, living someplace nice like Annapolis, and financially stable. Everything else can come after that.

More pictures

I took a half day on 9/12 and went downtown to take some pictures and experiment with HDR. Below you will see the results of that excursion.

My first attempt at an HDR image. I think it came out pretty well. Its (of course) the world famous Peabody Hotel in Memphis.

A second attempt. I had my tripod on the grass with this one so it was a little more difficult. I believe next time I do this i'll make sure I have a completely flat surface and use my remote. This one turned out pretty ok too.

The same as above just as a regular picture. You can see the difference between the HDR and the regular.

Some of the nicest houses in Memphis, right on the bluffs overlooking the mighty Mississippi.

As for a Basis Admin, I am one of a few people who keep ~190 systems up and running. SAP is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System). We use just about every component that SAP offers. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) are the systems I'm currently working on the most. I have just completed a full upgrade of our SRM system from SRM 3.0 to SRM 5.0 with SRM Server 5.5. Woooo.

So yeah. Thats what I do and I will hopefully be taking more pictures and getting better at the whole HDR thing.
